Gruppo Campari, a company of Guggenheim Intrapresæ, announces an unprecedented three-year collaboration with Artissima, the International Contemporary Art Fair in Turin, through the establishment of the Campari Art Prize.
The award is dedicated to an artist under 35 years of age, selected among those exhibited in the seven sections of the art fair by a jury composed by Adam Budak, director of collections and exhibitions, National Gallery of Prague, Francesco Stocchi, curator of modern and contemporary art, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam, and curator of the Fondazione Memmo Roma, and Carina Plath, deputy director, Sprengel Museum Hannover.
The artist will be selected on the basis of his/her research on the evocative power of narrative, and on the communication and narration aspects of his/her artwork. The artist will be awarded a solo-exhibition at the Galleria Campari, located at the Campari HQs in Sesto S. Giovanni and visited by approximately 15,000 persons every year.
