In the occasion of the Milan design week (April 17-22, 2018), the PGC is pleased to share the various activities and events that the Guggenheim Intrapresæ companies will host in their stands and showrooms.

Inside the Arper showroom the values embodied by the company, like Balance, Intuition, Family, Color, Light, Play, are reinterpreted through the new Kiik project by Ichiro Iwasaki, which continues the narrative program that characterizes the fair stand.

CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia celebrates the hundredth birth anniversary of Achille Castiglioni taking part to an important cultural project in collaboration with the Achille Castiglioni Foundation. The Florim group brand reedits the iconic ceramic vase Lapis designed in 1968, once again focusing strongly on the world of Italian art and design.

Hangar Design Group presents Collectibles, exhibition-event where the latest products of the creative studio will showcase. Covering both the micro and the macro scales, the studio’s hallmark unfolds around everyday objects and oversized sculptural furniture pieces, in the name of a continuity of approach and creative thinking. In addition, the long-term partnership with Taiwanese brand Acera – whose artistic direction is supervised by Hangar Design Group – continues with a temporary store that will host a luminous installation conceived by artist Domenico Pellegrino.

Rubelli Group is a partner of Tram Corallo, a project thought by Cristina Celestino that consists in an emotional tour through the Brera district aboard a historic tram whose interior furniture is designed by Rubelli itself. In addition, Rubelli collaborates with Marangoni Institute to exhibit the young students’ works inside the fair’s spaces where, also, presents the work of MIja Lebel, a young Israeli illustrator who recently completed her internship at Rubelli laboratories.

Orsoni participates in Superloft by Arch. Giulio Cappellini with the projects of four young building designers for a reinterpretation of the classic in a modern and artistic way. In the same location, Trend Group is the official partner of Linvisibile with the Sistema Scorrevole Marea Marechiaro designed by the Arch Giulio Cappellini.

Swatch keeps going to bring art closer to people with the TIME TO ART exhibition along Montenapoleone Street where the artist Stefano Ogliara Badessi and the photographer Xepo W.S. will interact with the audience involving them in their creative process. Furthermore, Swatch renews its collaboration with IED- Istituto Europeo di Design letting 23 students personalize 24 maxi swatches that will be exhibited at Montenapoleone Vip Lounge for the entire design week.

Mapei supports the Arch Simone Micheli who will give life to the Regeneration Hotel, located in the Lambrate Design District, to promote interactions between people and the spaces around the Hotel, and talking about the requalification process of this contemporary hosting structure. Mapei, also, sustains the installation The secret colors of Milan born by the collaboration between the Arch. Marco Piva and Marie Claire Maison at Galleria Manzoni.

IED continues to involve its students in important entrepreneurial projects and participates in the Design Parade on April 18th, which will be held along the 5VIE, celebrating creativity and design. Furthermore, it gives support to A come Atipico! – Design per la neurodiversità, a project of social responsibility that addresses the problems experienced by people on the autistic spectrum.
