In an increasingly advanced and complex world where people are more and more sensitive to social and environmental issues, the company’s daily challenge is not just making profit but also producing a positive social impact on the community of reference.
Guggenheim Intrapresæ believes in ethical entrepreneurship and has chosen to be a network partner of the “Bumobee-Business Models for Benefit Enterprises” project powered by Fondazione Ca ‘Foscari and financed by the Veneto Region (POR FSE 2014-2020), which sees the collaboration between Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice and other institutions and companies.
Therefore, Intrapresæ supports the project through communication and dissemination of the results and by promoting the importance of qualitatively significant investment in enriching the social fabric and the cultural sector.
By the same token, Bumobee’s goal is to integrate the social value and the impact generated on the community by corporate activity with the business models of the Veneto SMEs. It intends to accompany the participants involved in the project in a path of greater awareness and enhancement of positive social impact choices on people, the environment, culture and territory. In fact, these unique and innovation aspects are strengths which should be highlighted and communicated to increase competitiveness in the market.
Indeed, the three main actions promoted by the project are: training, researching and consulting for the companies involved who wish to obtain B Corp certification or become a Benefit Company.
What are the strategic objectives? Through experimentation, the aim is to design and develop an empirical model based on the research developed by Ca ‘Foscari and to build a business community in Veneto of B Corps and Benefit Societies.
Given these points, the goal for these companies is to strengthen their reputation, stimulate the improvement of their performance – from the business model to the organizational system, from the relationship with customers / consumers to that with suppliers – and, finally, gain a competitive advantage by attracting more quality investments (impact investing).
