The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is delighted to welcome Sanlorenzo Yacht into its Institutional Patrons. It will join EFG and Lavazza supporting the museum.
Sanlorenzo Yacht is a leader in the made-to-measure yacht and superyacht building. It was founded in 1958 by Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia, and now represents a boutique firm in the yachting industry thanks to its tailored made production, combining experience and innovation in each craft. The shipyard’s headquarters are located on the banks of the river Magra, inside the Montemarcello-Magra natural reserve, in Ameglia, in the province of La Spezia, in Liguria, Italy. Sanlorenzo is toward a unique approach, which has allowed it to bond with the world of art over the years, with courage, determination and willingness to expand its horizons, exploring new creative languages.
“We are happy to be Institutional Patron of The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. This collaboration reinforces the fundamental role played by business to support culture and arts and will also open the doors of one of the most exceptional museums of modern and contemporary art to all employees of Sanlorenzo.”
The museum is grateful to Sanlorenzo Yacht for its decision and together, thanks to the support from EFG, Lavazza and the Guggenheim Intrapresae companies will carry on its rich exhibition program and the numerous institutional activities aiming at engaging inclusively all its audiences from its reference community.
Welcome on board Sanlorenzo Yacht!
